Sara's house is amazing, will definitely stay there next time. If you are renting a van which we did you can park it in the street. Which is really close to the house. They were an absolutely awesome host!

The Neighborhood
Musrara, also known as Morasha, is a centrally located neighborhood nestled between the Old City and the Center of Town. Built at the end of the 19th century, Musrara is well known for its old Arab architectured homes as well art galleries and music schools. The neighborhood’s turbulent past is well documented as it was once on the border between Jordanian occupied Jerusalem and Israel. For a time, the alleyways and stone courtyards resonated with the sound of Jordanian bullets. Today, Musrara is a charming and peaceful neighborhood with a diverse culture and style and in high demand.
- 10 minute walk to the Old City
- 3 blocks from the Light Rail
- 1 block from Jaffa St.
- Meah She’arim, Ticho House, and Russain Compound (and more!) are walkable.
Musrara is bordered by Meah She’arim and Beit Yisrael to the north, the Old City to the south and east, and the Russian Compound and Kikar Safra to the west. Musrara’s central and strategic location between the Orthodox neighborhoods to the north and the secular neighborhoods to the west has contributed to its diversity and appeal.
